GROOMING AND BATHING

Having your pet groomed or bathed once a month makes him or her a much happier pet.  Not only do they like feeling clean, but it is more joyful for you to hold a clean bundle of joy! It's a Win-Win situation - they feel better, you want to hold them more, and they get more attention and they slobber on you more!

It is important to get a new puppy used to having their paws and body used to contact by human hands so that being bathed will seem like play time when it occurs.  Many animals come in and need a nail trim and have never had their feet touched and they are a little bit anxious.  It is very helpful if their owner has just touched their feet or "played" with their feet, so that when we start to handle them it won't seem like something foreign or scary.

We offer a reduced "Guest Bath" after dogs or puppies have boarded with us, but we also offer a full range of bathing, flea control, nail trimming and some shaving options year round.
